I like to visualize Anouk’s work and personality with a tangle of streets and roads, pathways and stairs, doors and windows, ups and downs. A way and a metaphor to show her greatest interest, which is the human relationship at all levels.
Relationships have many layers, contexts and ways of understanding. From love or intimacy to friendship, family, solidarity and empathy. Many aspects and levels, many choices that lead to the tangle, different moments and places, up and down. We stand in life because of that. Relationships are dynamic systems that change continuously during their existence.
