While “Linea d’orizzonte” is clearly defined from the outside, a viewer is seduced by hundreds of carefully placed ceramic elements upon entering the circular space. Some elements are simple square bricks of different sizes; others have a trumpet shape inside that serves as a natural amplifier for simple, subtle sounds. All elements are oriented towards the center, in which visitors can optimally watch as well as listen. In that center a perspective has been created that, as in theatrical rhetoric, creates the illusion of a landscape and of a space that extends to the horizon.
