Harmonic fields is a series of 12 sculptures that bring and relate sound, color and form together. My intention is to create an harmonic area. Sound propagates in all directions and the shapes are round and concentric, concave and convex, expression of musical tones that extend spatially in the same manner.
From a musical point of view, each harmonic field is composed of four instruments (represented by the four specific colours) that perform a musical composition, audible through the sculpture. So in a semicircular space the twelve harmonic fields coexist together in a musical composition that relates to all the others also on a spatial level. It could be imagined as an orchestra divided into groups of four musicians who are not grouped by instrumental sections but by color composition.
